
Open their saved game with the Saved Game Editor, choose the "Unpack" option, and then copy their version of the necessary quest file to a safe place. Get a saved game from someone who DID complete that quest. It might be that you only need to have completed the 10 quests on the other hand, it might be that you need journal entries for those ten monsters, and adding the quest file wouldn't change your journal entries.

We don't have access to that script, so we don't know what it contains. I can't tell you for sure, because whether or not the Royal Huntsman gets the dialogue line to offer you the sword depends on a condition script. Maybe I could manually edit these somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated. So my question is can I somehow edit my save file so the quest is as if it had been completed all along? The save editor I found doesn't seem to be able to do this but it did help me extract the save file and inside I found some. Mappejoster: Since it's my second playthrough i've been reading the wiki with the intention of trying to complete everything but it seems that my plan to get the Moonblade for W2 has been foiled because I didn't notice the King of the Crypt quest.
